Visual outcomes of two trifocal IOLs
The paper Visual Outcomes Following Bilateral lmplantation of Two Diffractive Trifocal Intraocular Lenses in 10 084 Eyes by Rafael Bilbao-Calabuig et al purpose is to investigate refractive and visual acuity outcomes, patient satisfaction, and spectacle independence at 3 months of 2 diffractive (non-toric) trifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) in a large series of patients.
Table 3 shows visual acuity and refractive outcomes for each study group implanted with 1 of 2 diffractive trifocal intraocular lenses. These outcomes are shown with mean, standard deviation and range for the logMAR and there is a p value for each combination. In this first graphic I will show the visual acuity outcomes so we can easily compare between the two lenses for all the given combinations, also the p value of each is shown. You can click on the image to get a larger view:
The second one shows the refractive outcomes, sphere and cylinder post-op as well as the follow up in months and the p value of each:
With the graphics you can compare outcomes between the lenses easier than with the table.
Demographics table to graphic
In the study A Multicenter Prospective Cohort Study on Refractive Surgery in 15011 Eyes by Kamiya et al there is a table for demographics. I will show that table in graphics for easier comparation between procedures. The first one is gender by procedure:
Then all the other characteristics for the whole population:
And then the same characteristics per procedure, you can click on the image to enlarge it:
With this graphic is much easier to compare every characteristic between procedures.
Progress indicators
The new update for RSG is online. Now when the program is busy making calculations you will see an indicator:
Also a progress bar will be shown when you want to download a report:
